The concept of
The Perfect Pause - Fine Tea & Accessories was born in 2004. It was our dream to create a business that would allow us to make a living as well as offer a positive and healthy contribution to our customers and to the world*. We truly believe our motto, “Life is Better With Tea” and we take our tea very seriously. Each and every variety has been hand-chosen and personally sampled by us. We are dedicated to offering you the very best quality loose leaf teas from all over the world at a fair price to our valued customers.
*A portion of our profits are donated to charity.
The world of tea is wonderful and complex. There is something new to learn around every corner and, as you will see, behind most good teas there is a great story. If you are pressed for time while shopping you’re welcome to just read the short description of each tea. If you have some time to spend with us and would like to delve deeper into the world of tea please read our detailed descriptions which contain history and little known facts about each tea we offer.
As both the casual tea drinker and the connoisseur are discovering, the culture of tea is very much like the world of wine. There are literally hundreds of different varieties of tea and the right tea paired with the right food is a marriage made in heaven. Whenever possible, we list food-pairing suggestions with each tea listed in our online teashop. But we encourage you to experiment and make your own new discoveries!
